• 🌿 Abstract Submission Guidelines

    We warmly invite researchers, clinicians, students, and health professionals to submit their work for presentation at the National Health Seminar 2025. We welcome high-quality abstracts that align with this year’s theme, “Empowering Healthy Ageing: Innovations and Integrative Approaches.”

  • 📅 Abstract Submission Deadline: 31st July 2025

    🔹 General Information

    • Each registered participant may submit only one abstract.
    • If co-authors wish to attend the seminar, they must register and complete payment independently.
    • All abstracts must be submitted through the official conference website only.
    • Submitted work must be original and not previously presented at any other conference, seminar, or congress prior to the abstract submission deadline.
    • Abstracts must be written in clear British English (BrE) and thoroughly checked for grammar and spelling to ensure clarity and professionalism.
    • Submissions must follow the official abstract template provided.
    • Abstracts must not exceed 500 words (excluding title, authors, and affiliations).
    • All accepted abstracts will be published in the Medical Journal of Malaysia.

    🔬 Categories of Research and Topics:

    We welcome submissions under, but not limited to, the following categories:

    a. Preclinical Research
    Basic laboratory research (e.g., physiological, molecular biology, or animal models) with relevance to elderly health.

    b. Translational Research
    Research bridging preclinical findings with clinical applications in elderly health (e.g., Phase I trials).

    c. Clinical Studies/Trials
    Research involving human participants that explores disease patterns, risk factors, diagnostic tools, or health interventions among older adults.

    d. Systematic or Scoping Reviews
    Comprehensive literature reviews synthesizing high-quality evidence relevant to elderly health or ageing.

    e. Clinical Case Reports/ Series
    Unique or instructive cases that offer novel insights into diagnosis, treatment, or care of older patients.

    f. Quality Improvement Initiatives
    Studies with structured approaches to improving healthcare delivery for older adults (e.g., clinical audits or care optimization projects).

    g. Community-Based Projects
    Initiatives targeting community-level health promotion, education, screening, or intervention programs for older adults.

    h. Others
    Abstracts outside the above categories but still relevant to health, or wellbeing are also welcome. Proposals of studies are also welcome.

    Withdrawal Policy

    Completion of NHS registration and payment should be done by 31st July 2025. If the author wishes to withdraw their abstract, they are requested to do so in writing via email to the Free Paper Committee secretariat before 31st August 2025.
